Dozens of people took to their motorcycles in Marathon today to support some local causes. Its all a part of the 11th annual Motorcycle Fun Run. The event supports the Central Wisconsin Special Olympics and other local charities.
Motorcyclists hopped on their bikes to ride through a couple of local counties. Marathon, Lincoln, and Langlade where just a couple of the counties that the bikers were able to venture to.
The Fun Run didn’t just include bikes, however. The first ever kickball tournament was also held today. Organizers say that this new event will encourage community participation.
Andrew Crabb, the Chair Person of the even said, “law enforcement, try and give back to the community as much as possible because we’re not always see in a negative stand point but also a positive stand point.”
The activities and kickball games continued until the afternoon ending with a band called Knockpoint.
