Missing Stratford Man Found Safe

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department say 27-year-old man thought to be missing since Monday morning has been found safe.

Erik McCarthy, 27, was last seen west of Stratford at about 7am Monday. Tuesday morning he called authorities to let them know he was safe.

Family and authorities were concerned for the man's safety due to the outside temperatures.

The department thanks everyone for the assistance.
