MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Green Bay man is now convicted of stabbing another man five times during a Madison block party.
Twenty-three-year-old Colin Rosenow pleaded no contest Thursday to a reduced charge of first-degree reckless endangerment.
Rosenow was accused of stabbing 21-year-old Mathew Warnert during a fight at last year's Mifflin Street Block Party.
A charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide was dismissed under a plea agreement. The Wisconsin State Journal reports Rosenow faces up to 17 1/2 years of combined prison and extended supervision when he is sentenced in about two months.
According to the complaint, Rosenow was part of a group walking by Warnert and his friends when the two started fighting.
Rosenow's trial was to have started next week.
