A former a Rudolph man wanted by police since 2010 has been arrested in southeastern Wisconsin.

Larry Arnold, 38, is facing dozens of charges stemming from as far back as 2009. The charges include drunk driving, fleeing an officer, failing to register as a sex offender and countless bail jumping charges.

The Washington County Sheriff Department says a resident became concerned after checking on the home of a loved one and noticed the door had been kicked in. When a Deputy arrived the suspect, who the department identified as Larry Arnold, fled on foot.

Officers from three area Sheriff's Departments assisted in a ground search for Arnold.

They say Arnold was located hiding under an old piece of metal in a heavily wooded area one-half mile northeast of the burglary scene. He was taken into custody Thursday morning. Authorities describe him as a survivalist and say he had likely broke into the homes looking for food or water.

Arnold was treated at the scene for possible frostbite to his feet and he was transported to a West Bend hospital.

Arnold was convicted of 2nd degree child sexual assault in Wood County in 1995. He's required to register as a sex offender, however according to online court records he has since failed to do so.

Pending his release from the hospital, Arnold will be transported to the Washington County Jail where he will be held on charges stemming from the two residential burglaries and the outstanding warrants from Wood County.
