A Wausau man stopped Monday afternoon for having a loud exhaust is facing criminal charges after officer say numerous items found in the back seat are used for selling meth.
Matthew Cagle was pulled over near N. 10th and Adams Street. According to the criminal complaint, inside the vehicle were grocery bags containing rubberband ties off, gem bags, needles, wipe, a digital scale, canisters-- some containing meth residue, and table salt-- believed to be used for the purpose of “cutting” the meth for resale.
Officers says inside the vehicle were three cellphones; one of which had an open text message that read, “can you get me some”.
Cagle stated the vehicle did not belong to him.
Cagle is free on a $10,000 signature bond and will return to court on November 4.
