An Antigo triathlete has raised $24,400 for the Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County.
Tom Koss participated in Lifetime Fitness Minneapolis Triathlon on July 13. A portion of the Koss' pledges were matched by Janus Capital and Ameriprise. Koss also received a charitable donation because he was the top third fundraiser.
“We are very grateful that Tom chose our organization to support,” said Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County Executive Director Angel Zimmerman. “The generous donation will help us continue to offer services for the youth of Langlade County, especially those who need us the most.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County provides a safe, fun and educational environment that unites youth grades one through twelve from all backgrounds and encourages their development as caring, responsible community members and leaders. Locally the club is serving 500 registered members.
