Little Rorie Manke asks her grandfather, Rob, where Poncho is every day. The puppy went missing last Sunday between three and five in the afternoon.
Witnesses say they saw a car parked outside while the miniature sheltie was playing. Then a younger looking man got out, picked the puppy up, and drove away.
After the dog went missing the Mankes immediately filed a police report, and Rob posted a $500 reward on Facebook. But just recently, he doubled the amount.
"I just wanna let everybody know that I'm putting a $1,000 reward to get this dog back," said Rob, "These kids want this dog back. These are my grandkids, and they miss it."
The family has already posted lost puppy signs all along their street. Neighbors and friends of the family have been nothing but supportive. Rob said it feels good to know people are keeping an eye out for Poncho.
Rob says if you have any leads on Poncho's whereabouts you can reach him by phone, at 715-213-1982. Or you can message him via Facebook by his full name, Rob Manke.
