Man Cited for 5th OWI in Juneau County
A 37-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama has been arrested for his 5th OWI in Juneau County.
According to a press release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, Rueben Harris Givens was driving west on I-90/94 in Sauk County when the vehicle he was operating struck the rear of a semi unit.
Authorities say he then left the scene of the crash without reporting it.
He was stopped a short time later on I-90/94 in Juneau County. After the stop, it was determined that Givens was intoxicated and was arrested for OWI.
Givens had at least four prior convictions of OWI in states outside of Wisconsin.
