Man, 74, Killed in Adams Co. Crash

A 74-year-old Adams County man has died as result of a traffic accident.

According to the Town of Rome Police Chief, dispatch received a call around 1 p.m. Thursday of a single vehicle crash.

Officers found a pickup truck that had crashed into tree near the 200 block of County Highway Z.

Police say the driver, David Friedbauer, 74, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Town of Rome Fire Department, Town of Rome Highway Department, Nekoosa Ambulance Service, and Adams County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted at the scene.
