Man, 54, Suffers Fatal Heart Attack while Hunting Near Tomahawk

A 54-year-old Oconto County man has died of an apparent heart attack while hunting near Tomahawk.

According to a news release, the man's son called 911 reporting his father was unresponsive near his tree stand. An investigation shows the man may have gone into cardiac arrest and fallen from his tree stand, which is about 20' off the ground.

The death remains under investigation. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
