Man, 53, Killed in Price Co. Silo Accident

A 53-year-old Price County man has died after an accident at a farm in Catawba.

Just after 5 p.m. on Monday, the man was attempting to free frozen silage from the silo walls when he became trapped and buried.

According to the Price County Coroner, the man was airlifted to a Marshfield hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Price County Sheriff says the victim's name will not be released as request of the family.

Catawba is 15 miles southwest of Phillips.
