Man, 50, Dies Following Tomah House Fire

A 50-year-old Monroe County man has died following a fire Wednesday night at his home.

According to WKBT-TV, dispatch received a call reporting a fire at 25097 Grain Avenue in the Town of Tomah around 11 pm. The caller also said she could not find her husband.

Firefighters from the two department searched the home and found the man in the basement. He pronounced dead at a Tomah hospital.

Foul play is not suspected. The man's name will not be released until family is notified.
