Brides-to-be are invited to the Celebrations Bridal Expo this Sunday, March 24, in Merrill.
The expo will feature bridal vendors such as wedding decorators, jewelry, boutiques, photographers, venues and florists who will showcase the latest in wedding trends.
According to BridalGuide.com, peonies are expected to continue to be one of the most requested flowers for the 2013 wedding season. However, the site says their limited availability could have brides looking for a back-up. Wedding planners suggest the garden rose, which has the same delicate petal but is much more readily available.
When it comes to invitations brides can expect to see some very unique options, Bridal Guide says neon, 3-D, and patterns will be trending this year.
You can thank Kate Middleton for the continuing trends in bridal gowns. Jeweled details, keyhole backs, long sleeves and illusion necklines are predicted to remain popular.
The expo will be from noon to 4 p.m. at the Smith Center located at 1100 Marc Dr. in Merrill. The event is free to attend.
