UW Stevens Point is once again one of the greenest Universities in the Country.
From compost bins for dorms, to a solar powered bench for students to plug in their laptops, the sustainability coordinator for the school says many of the ideas and work come from the students themselves.
"We've got some great student organizations that, I think on campus there's 200 in a variety of different avenues and there's about 15 of them that have a strong sustainability focus," Dave Barbier said, "and so those groups are very active in terms of making the campus a greener place."
Barbier says they have a lot more plans for new green on the campus. He says the hope to put solar panels on all the dorm buildings within the next few years.
