Workers at Ace Hardware in Schofield say they have run out of a few snow items, and are weighing the risk of ordering more this late in the season.
"The last couple days have been insanely crazy," Tyler Hoffman said. "We've sold a lot more [snow blowers] this season as season's in the past, everyone's kind of gotten sick of shoveling, I guess."
With the snow blower supply dropping down, they are weighing the risks on whether to order another fleet.
"We haven't decided yet," Hoffman said, "its a risk, because it could snow for another three months, it could stop snowing halfway through March."
Besides snow blower purchases, the crew at Ace has seen more customers coming in with snow blowers and a problem.
"Repairs have been pretty busy," Hoffman said, "most of it has been people coming and getting parts, belts and cables and stuff like that."
If you'd like the professionals to take care of your snow-clearing woes, you might want to pick up a shovel while you are in...
"Now we're about a week, week and half out, which isn't too bad, considering the weather we've had."
