Players on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters baseball team took time out of their busy day for the Family Kids day Wednesday.
They played kickball, hula-hoop and just spent some time with the Rafters crew. The players had their share of fun too, and say being able to spend time with kids reminded many of them of home and gave them a chance to give back.
"If we just played baseball here, and we didn't give back to the community we wouldn't have any fans come out, and we have a pretty solid fan base here so its pretty fun to have all the fans come out," Catcher Chandler Tracy said, "this is all about giving back, so, we're just grateful for the opportunity to have fans come out and to be able to give back, its a great time."
Kids who made it out for the event say the best part was just being able to play with the baseball stars they see on the field.
