The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says a 46-year-old man is in serious condition after he fell off his snowmobile and was struck by another Saturday night.

Dispatch received a call around 9:30 p.m. For the report of a man who had been run over on Lake Nokomis and was not at a bar on County Road Y near Tomahawk.

The sheriff's department says both riders then rode to the tavern where they summoned help.

Investigators says the 46-year-old man was in serious, but stable condition Sunday night.

Both were cited for operating a snowmobile while intoxicated and for refusing a chemical test.

The 56-year-old was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he was booked on a charge of probation violation for violating the terms of his probation by drinking.
