It seem to happen every year, Halloween sneaks up on us. Someone sends you a Halloween party invite and then there's the frantic search to throw a costume together. YIKES!! Don't worry, I'm here to help!
You may remember a few years ago on Sunrise 7, I had a Halloween Costume Segment where I featured some fun, simple, and creative ideas that I had found online. So here are some of the favorites...
*Take a shirt and write the word "ceiling" on it and carry pom poms - Tell everyone you're a ceiling fan.
*Wear a chef's hat, put on an apron and carry an iron - Tell everyone you're an iron chef.
*Wear a black shirt. Using white duct tape, make a line of dashes (your lane lines) that begins at one ankle and ends at your collar. Fasten a fork along the route - Tell everyone you're a folk in the road.
*Grab an empty soda bottle and put a string around the neck of the bottle. Wear it like a necklace - Tell everyone you're a bottleneck.
*Dress in orange and put a pi sign on it - tell people you are pumpkin pie.
*Tape $1 bills to each ear - Tell people you're a Buccaneer.
*Take the glass out of a large picture frame and carry just the frame - Tell everyone you're a self-portrait.
*Wear pink from head to toe and then drape a boa around your neck - Tell people you are tickled pink.
*Tape some string to your favorite cereal box, wear it around your neck like a necklace. Carry a sword (or some kind of toy weapon) - Tell people you're a cereal killer.
*Wear a white shirt. Cut out a piece of yellow felt and tape it to the shirt. Accessorize with devil horns - Tell people you're a deviled egg.
If you have other great ideas that you've found online or came up with - please feel free to share below.
From all of us here at NewsChannel 7 - Wishing you a Spooky and Safe Halloween!!
