The Bayfield County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a 22-year-old man who died in a snowmobile accident over the weekend.
According to KBJR-TV, Ryan Maly, 22, of Bryant, which is near Antigo, was riding his snowmobile with friends near Iron River, late Friday night, when he failed to negotiate a turn near Fire Tower Road and Forest Road 242.
Maly struck a tree and died from his injuries.
The Iron River Ambulance, Ashland Paramedic unit, wardens from the DNR and the Bayfield County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
