Lafayette Co. Man Accused of Running Meth Lab

Charges are expected to filed against a 59-year-old Lafayette County man accused of running a meth lab at this home.

According to a press release from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Monday afternoon deputies along with officers from the Shullsburg Police Department and officers from Clandestine Lab Enforcement and Response executed a search warrant at a residence located at 221 W. Water St. in the city of Shullsburg.

Investigators found items related the manufacturing and distribution of meth.

The home's owner, Robert Gundry, was arrested on tentative charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possessing Materials for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing-Waste, and Maintaining a Drug Dwelling.

He remains behind bars in the Lafayette County

The investigation of this matter is continuing and investigator expected more people to be charged.
