The Ladysmith Police Department is asking for help identifying the body of man found on the railroad tracks Wednesday afternoon.

According to WEAU-TV, the body is a white male, with possibly shoulder length brown hair. The age of the man is unknown. When he was found he was wearing black size 31 dress pants, a black button up dress shirt, a black and silver neck tie and slip on black dress shoes.

A release states the man didn't have any identification, but a receipt from April 2012 from Kwik Trip in Chippewa Falls and a receipt from August 2012 from McDonald's in Eau Claire were found.

Officers want to talk to anyone who has information on about a missing person, or anyone who saw anyone on the railroad tracks in Ladysmith on Wednesday. They should call 715-532-2186.

A cause of death has not been released.
