Two kittens thrown from an SUV in Neenah are now up for adoption at a Fox Cities animal shelter.
According to WLUK-TV, police are looking for people who threw the kittens out of a moving vehicle over the weekend.
Police say the vehicle was seen around 7:30 a.m. Saturday headed south on Commercial St. near Alexander Dr. in Neenah. It's described as a black Jeep Wrangler with a soft convertible top.
One kitten was found after it fell down a storm sewer. Police and firefighters, with help from a citizen, pulled it out and took it to an animal shelter.
If you have any information about this case you're asked to call the Neenah Police Department at (920) 886-6000.
The kittens, which are between 10-12 weeks old, are still available for adoption at the Neenah Animal Shelter. You can contact the shelter by calling (920) 722-9544.
