Even though it was a chilly night on Wausau's 400 Block, it didn't stop area kids from heating up the stage.
Kids ranging in age from 6 to 18 years old showcased their talents at the first ever "Kids Got Talent Variety Show and Art Exhibit." The event was put on by Family Counseling Services and Peaceful Solutions Counseling as a fundraiser to fund their programs that help area kids.
The variety show on Wednesday night featured 16 acts - everything from music, dance, singing, and much more. In addition to the variety show, there was also a featured art exhibit. The projects are on display at the CVA next to the Grand Theater. This features 27 artists. The exhibit will be on display until July 21st.
NewsChannel 7's Amy Pflugshaupt served as the event's emcee.
