Kids between the ages of five and 14 can participate in "Splash Into Safety," a water safety program sponsored by Aspirus and Safe Kids Wausau Area, on June 14 at Memorial Pool in Wausau.
Kids must be accompanied by an adult at the program. Check-in will be from 10-10:30 a.m.
The events and activities, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon, include:
· Boating safety
· Life jacket safety
· Deep water safety
· Pool and spa safety
· Reach and throw assists
· Wading assists
· Hypothermia precautions
· CPR/AED demonstration
All participating children will receive a free life jacket provided by Safe Kids Wausau Area.
Pre-registration is required by calling the Aspirus Information Center at 715.847.2380.
