Every minute of every day, children everywhere are injured by not realizing the possible dangers that surround them. Through education, many of these accidents can be eliminated and children can lead safer lives. Tuesday, 111 kids ages 8-11 attended the 20th Annual Safety Day Camp for Kids.

The free program was presented by Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, UW-Extension, Lincoln County Farm Bureau and Merrill Parks and Recreation.

The kids rotated between 10 different stations, including lawnmower safety, gun safety, and even bullying. The event is designed to teach kids the importance of safety in their homes, on the farm and in their neighborhoods.

The kids were even able to get an up close look at the  Ministry Spirit Medical helicopter and talk with the flight crew.
