Drivers across our area are being urged to be careful when they drive near school buses now that school is back in session .
Bus drivers in Wausau tell us that some of the most common violations they see is people driving too fast around buses and failing to stop when their stop signs are out.
The driver we talked with says he is always cautious when on the road because he never knows when others aren't paying attention.
"For the most part people in this area people are pretty cautious around buses. I do see driving mishaps or law breaking." says bus driver Brad Evenson.
If you fail to stop for a school bus, you can face a fine of up to $300.
