You can find out if your old junk is worth something this weekend at the Marathon County Public Library at the "What's It Worth?" event.

It is Saturday, March 8 from 9am to 4pm at the library's downtown branch.

You need to call and make an appraisal appointment ahead of time. That phone number is 715-261-7234. Each item you're getting appraised costs $10.

The man doing the appraisals is Mark Moran, who has more than 20 years of appraisal experience, has written books on the topic and he has been featured as a guest expert on "Antiques Road Show" on PBS.
