It's a favorite winter past time in Central Wisconsin, ice fishing. Hundreds of ice fisherman hit Lake DuBay today participating in a very special ice fishing tournament.

One of those fisherman was Patrick Seybert. Patrick is an Iraqi War veteran and a member of the Stevens Point Veterans Club. He helped organize the tournament to raise money for Camp American Legion, a resort in northern Wisconsin where disabled veterans and their families can enjoy a vacation free of charge, a mission very near and dear to Patrick's heart.

"It means a lot. We all know what it takes to serve and what we go through so we just want to help out as much as we can each other," Seybert told NewsChannel 7.

Last year the Vets Club raised more than $800. This year they hope to double that so they have enough money to send two families to Camp American Legion.
