The Oneida County Sheriff says the death of Steven Boron is not suspicious. The 54-year-old's body was found July 2 in a wooded area near Lake Julia. Sheriff Grady Hartman said Tuesday they believe Boron's body had been at the location for more than one year.
Investigators say Boron was on parole and had not reported to his agent since May 2013.
The discovery was made by a citizen, according to a press release.
A preliminary cause of death is still under investigation pending results from the State Crime Lab.
