Hotel Mead in Wis. Rapids Welcomes New Owners
Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids now has new owners. According to a press release from the chamber of commerce, the new owners represented as SKD Hotels Mead, LLC., are Melvin and Brenda Schellin of Theresa, Terry Sindt of Jeffersonton, Virginia; Larry Davis of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota; and Al DeBerry of Flower Mound, Texas.
The hotel was built in 1951. The hotel is comprised of 154 rooms.
Mayor Zach Vruwink says, “I am absolutely thrilled and grateful for SKD's investment in the Hotel Mead. I'm extremely excited about what is to come.”
Hotel Mead is located at 451 E. Grand Ave.
