The holidays are right around the corner. To ensure your packages make it to your loved ones in time for the holidays the U.S Postal Service has these suggested shipping dates.
Dec. 10th for Military and International Mail
Dec. 14th for Parcel and Post Mail
Dec. 20th for First Class Mail
Dec. 21st for Priority and First Class cards and letters
Dec. 22nd for Express Mail
The USPS expects 17 billion Christmas cards to be sent during the month of December. Employees say to make sure everything is ready when you arrive at the post office to decrease your wait time. This includes making sure address labels are not smeared.
The U.S. Postal Service is not hiring extra employees for the holidays so sending mail early is encouraged.
