The folks at the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce use estimates from the sate to come up with an economic impact that's well into the millions
"Overnight visitors spend about $180 a night per person. There are up to 20,000 people here. That adds up to about $2.5 for every day these vistors are here," says Dana DeMet of the Chamber.
He says a lot of folks plan their vactions this week and are here before and after the music spending all over the place.
"We've seen a lot more traffic than any other week," says Tracy Bergman who works at Imaginuity toy store.
And once the music is over, the famous scary brand of the festival and the city itself stays in people's minds
DeMet says "with it being named the Hodag Country Fest, they get to know Rhinelander as a city."
