There are two more reasons to shop local in Rib Mountain: Ulta Beauty and Hobby Lobby.
Town administrators say people won't drive out to Appleton or Green Bay as much for shopping with the new shops in town.
They say a crafts store and cosmetics store is just what the town needs.
"People know where Rib Mountain is," says Rib Mountain town administrator Gaylene Rhoden. "If they have to pick up anything, they have it right there so that's really nice."
The town is finishing up a $2 million development plan. To help with traffic congestion, new traffic lights are being added at Parrot Lane, as part of this plan.
And of course, there are the jobs. The stores are adding about 100 new hires. Hobby Lobby has capped their new hires for now, but as of Friday, a manager at Ulta Beauty says they could possibly add more people in the future. She encourages people to apply online if they are interested.
