The 8th Annual Healthy Halloween Hoedown will once again be held at the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum in Stevens Point on Friday, October 26th.
The event is a fun-filled alternative to the sugar shock of trick or treating. Families are invited to enjoy healthy foods, dancing, Halloween crafts, live spiders, exhibit play, a gift bag for each child, raffles and more.
The museum will be selling tickets at the door, $5 per person and children under 12 months are free. Before families enjoy the excitement of CWCM's Healthy Halloween Hoedown, they will have the opportunity to Trick or Treat down Main Street from 5-7pm.
Downtown businesses will be handing out fun Halloween goodies for all children. Trick or Treat maps will be available outside the museum.
Proceeds from the event support family learning programs and exhibits at the museum and all community members are encouraged to attend.
Healthy Halloween Hoedown runs from 5-8pm. CWCM is located at 1100 Main Street in Stevens Point.
