If you plan on doing some traveling though Green Bay this fall you'll want to plan ahead, as one city's most popular bridges will close for several weeks.
According to WLUK-TV, maintenance work is scheduled to being September 10th on the Ray Nitschke Bridge. The work is scheduled to end in November. During the time of the work the bridge will be in the up position.
Interstate 43 crosses the Fox River northeast of Green Bay via the Leo Frigo Bridge. Southwest of Ray Nitschke Bridge, Walnut Street/ Shawano Avenue/ Highway 29 crosses the river and southwest of that, E Mason/ Highway 54 will also get motorists across the Fox River.
