Governor Scott Walker appointed Keith A. Steckbauer to serve as judge of branch two of the Waupaca County Circuit Court, replacing retiring judge John Hoffmann.
“Keith Steckbauer understands the legal issues facing families and businesses in Waupaca County, and he will combine that experience with a commitment to the Constitution and rule of law. I am confident he will serve the community well,” said Governor Walker.
Steckbauer is owner of Steckbauer Law Firm, a general practice firm located in Dale. He just completed a one-year term as president of the Waupaca County Bar Association. He is president of the Board of Education for the School District of New London. He also serves on the boards of directors for the New London Hospital, First State Bank, and New London United Methodist Church. From 1997 to 2001, he was the elected chairman of the Town of Dale.sides of an issue. Mr. Steckbauer has an established law practice in the New London area and is a well-respected attorney.”
Steckbauer is a graduate of St. Norbert College and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He and his wife Jodi and their two children are active members of the New London community.
