MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is looking for someone to appoint as the next Oneida County sheriff.
Walker's office is taking applications to replace Sheriff Jeffrey Hoffman, who plans to retire next month. The new sheriff will complete a term ending Jan. 4, 2015.
The applicant who wins the job must reside in Oneida County at the time of appointment. Anyone interested should email a cover letter, resume and an application form available on the governor's website to govappointments@wisconsin.gov.
