Gov. Walker Looking for Judge Howard Successor

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is looking for someone to fill an upcoming judicial vacancy in central Wisconsin.

Marathon County Circuit Court Judge Vincent K. Howard plans to retire on Feb. 1. Walker is searching for someone he can appoint to fill the vacancy.

Interested parties should submit a cover letter, a resume, references, two writing samples and a completed judicial application from Walker's website, www.walker.wi.gov .

Applicants should submit their materials to judicialappointments@wisconsin.gov.

The deadline is Nov. 30.
