After the holidays, many people decide to buy a membership to a nearby gym and quickly find themselves two months later already tired of the routine.

Local fitness experts are giving tips about how to make it a habit during these cold months, and one of the ways is by getting together with people who can help you towards your goals.

Steve Slama, co-owner of Wausau Crossfit at the Wausau Box said, “I think community is everything, whether its working out, getting things done, or changing things. Community makes a difference.”

Whether you like to work out alone, or in a group, just getting there is the main issue. Trainers insist that if you start small and work your way up, its more likely you’ll make it part of your routine rather than occasional trip.
