Gas prices are continuing to drop which is great news for Thanksgiving Day travelers.
The lowest prices in central Wisconsin can be found in Stevens Point and Plover at $3.34 a gallon for regular gas. You can expect to pay a few cents more elsewhere. Gas in Wausau is $3.43 and in Rhinelander is $3.40.
However, those prices are no where near being the cheapest in the Midwest. Minneapolis and Chicago are reporting prices around $3.17 in some areas. Gas sells for about $3.32 in Detroit. And the best prices in the Midwest are in Des Moines, just over $3 a gallon at $3.07.
