The Marathon County Public Library Wausau Headquarters will host a program for parents on ways to better communicate with their children.

Linda Salzman, program coordinator for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Community Services, will share ways to communicate with and discipline children without yelling. Salzman also will provide insight into the meaning behind a child's challenging behaviors. Toys and books will be available to keep children entertained whose parents would like to attend this program.

The program is free and will begin at 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, April 17.

No registration is required.
