A free seminar for beginning Facebook users will be held Monday, September 23 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Mosinee branch of the Marathon County Public Library.
Mike Theiss, broadband coordinator and instructor with the University of Wisconsin Extension-Marathon County, will hold an introductory class on how to use the social media platform. Theiss will review how to navigate Facebook, use menus, set up security and tag photos.
The class is intended for beginning Facebook users and those who have not used Facebook before. The class will be formatted as a lecture. Participants may bring their own computers to the class, but the library will not have computers available for use during the class.
