A 4 foot tall gingerbread house now stands in the lobby of Stevens Point Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center.
The gingerbread house was created by the hotel staff and spearheaded by the Amber Grill's sous chef, Stephen MacNeal.
The gingerbread house was made from 90 pounds of confectioners sugar, 220 egg whites, and 38 cups of flour. Countless gumdrops, cookies, and candies were included in the decorations on the house. The treat took more than 35 hours to complete.
The display will be up through January 2, and the lobby is open 6 am to 11 pm for non-guests.
The hotel is located at 1001 Amber Avenue in Stevens Point.
