Former Minocqua Man Charged in Deadly Colorado Accident

A former Minocqua man is now charged in deadly Colorado crash.

According to the Denver Post, Maverick James Bain, 23, is charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, and three other misdemeanor charges related to drunk driving. Police say during the early morning hours of September 29, Bain drove drunk and crashed his jeep killing one of his passengers.

The accident happened in Breckenridge, Colorado, which is about 80 miles west of Denver.

The victim, Blake W. Roberts, 21, is originally from Edina, Minnesota, and had lived in Colorado for roughly three years.

Bain is currently being held in the Summit County Jail in Colorado on a $15,000 bond.
