UPDATE: UW Def. End Zagzebski Released from Hospital, Back in Madison

We received word that DCE grad Konrad Zagzebski was treated and released from the hospital last night in Houston and flew back to Madison with the team.
Badgers defensive end, and DC Everest grad, Konrad Zagzebski was carted off the field tonight in Houston in the first quarter against LSU. Reports are he has movement in his extremities, but was taken to a hospital near the stadium. Konrad's dad is with him. "Zags" was making a tackle on a leaping running back and it appeared his neck got jammed.

The Badgers' football staff is reporting trainers said Zags was taken to the hospital for 'precautionary reasons."
