The wife of former Marathon County Sheriff, Randy Hoenisch, who's awaiting sentencing for a drug conviction, is now facing new charges.
A Lieutenant with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department says Kim Hoenisch is facing battery and disorderly conduct charges after an argument with another family member, who is not her husband.
According to an incident report, she was at a relative's home in northwestern Marathon County on July 16 when the argument happened.
Hoenisch was asked to leave, but when she refused the relative threatened to call police. That's when Hoenisch became combative, according to the report.
Hoenisch left before deputies arrived but was arrested when deputies stopped her van on Hwy. 107 in the Township of Berlin.
She was booked into the Marathon County Jail and was released on a signature bond. Hoenisch is due in court July 30 for this latest incident.
The former state probation agent is also convicted of 3 felonies, including burglary and drug charges. She is set to be sentenced for that on Aug. 12.
