Supporting homeless veterans is not a complicated thing. In fact, it can be as easy as buying a mug or article of clothing.
Randlin Homes is holding flea markets to help raise funds for the "Support our Homeless Veterans" program.
Among the items are clothing, books, silverware, and paintings. Some of the items have a very personal touch to them, like benches and other wooden items made by Greg Simonis. He says Randlin Homes helped him get back on his feet and this is his way of helping them.
"It helps homeless vets like I was at one time," he says. "Randlin Homes helped me."
Randlin Homes offers help in recovery, training, and transition to people who are struggling.
You can catch additional Randlin Homes flea markets for vets on weekends at their store on 1st ave and Bridge Street.
