Investigators in Clark County say a July 6 fire at the building that housed the OW Enterprise newspaper and Company Store Fitness was intentionally set.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire.

The paper serves Owen, Withee, Curtiss and surrounding areas. The editorial team continues to produce the publication despite their building being destroyed.

Employees told us it's too early to tell if everything is a complete loss, but things like archived newspapers are burned to a crisp. Most of the damage can be seen in the back entryway of the building, where a camper and those irreplaceable archives were stored. But the fitness business that shared this building also saw substantial loss.

If you have any information, you're asked to call to the Owen Police Department at 715-229-2161. Callers can also remain anonymous by calling the Wisconsin Arson Tip Line at (800) 362-3005. A $5,000 reward is being offered in this case.
