Authorities say an overnight fire at a pallet factory in Wood County was contained to a mechanical building that housed the heating system. Firefighters have identified the factory as the SE Pallet Factory. That building had extensive damage.

The call came in just after 10 Saturday evening. Six departments responded to the scene just off of Highway 80 in Richfield including the Towns of Richfield, Pittsville, Rock, Cameron, Arpin, Vesper and the Village of Hewitt. All six departments were on scene until 12:30 a.m.

The Richfield Deputy Fire Chief tells NewsChannel 7 no injures were reported. They are still investigating what caused the fire.
