The Mosinee Fire Department has been called to a fire near the Mosinee Paper Mill, a branch of Wausau Paper. Dispatch reported the fire burning on an a piece of land near the Paper Mill in Mosinee.
Law enforcement don't believe the fire was started intentionally. They say that it probably started because of the lack of rain and mixture of dry conditions.
Smoke covered both lanes of Main Street bridge into the city. Police waved traffic through while the fire was put out.
